The purpose of this capstone course is to give students the opportunity to synthesize, integrate and apply the knowledge acquired in earlier courses through discussion of cases that require application of the theories to real world situations. This gives students the opportunity to decide what they would do as public managers if confronted with the situation at hand given the external environment, actors involved, and prevailing policies. Through such exercises students will develop analytical skills, and the ability to apply public administration concepts and theories to analyze problems and devise solutions. Class discussions and the end-course written directive students write are designed to prepare them in managing public offices.
