This course introduces students to commonly used costing and analysis techniques used by managers. This is a corporate financial analysis and decision-making course. Upon completion of this course, students will be able to describe the basic differences between financial and managerial accounting, explain the aims, functions, uses and influence of accounting in management decision-making.  Further, the course covers various performance evaluation methods, analysis of financial data for financial statement ratios, cost-volume-profit analysis, cash flow analysis, incremental analysis techniques and budgeting, as well as capital budgeting techniques.
