This is a practical ethics course, which aims to develop a basic understanding of ethical theory and the ability to think critically about the moral issues of business and professional life. In the first half, students will learn about several major ethical theories and discuss issues of justice, social responsibility, and professional ethics. In the second half, students will examine various topics in business ethics such as lying and bluffing, advertising, employee rights, affirmative action, sexual harassment, international business and environmental issues.
