PUBLIC FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND BUDGETING
This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of budgeting and financial management for government and non-profit managers. The course is divided into two units. The first unit covers budgeting concepts and skills, culminating in a real-world budget simulation. The second unit will cover basic accounting principles and financial statement literacy, so that students are able to evaluate the fiscal health of public sector organizations.
