FUNDAMENTALS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT (30 hours)
This course provides an overview and understanding of the current issues and challenges facing today’s businesses, both small and medium. The design of the course and its primary objective is to enable the class participants to improve their understanding of the mechanics business operations; manufacturing, marketing and maintaining financial focus in a rapidly changing and competitive market. Students will reflect on assessing individual organizational leadership skills and be able to more readily decide their choice of the career challenges and awards that management offers. Upon completion of this course the student will recognize the fundamentals of current management practices, the changing roles of the manager, future trends in management structures and activities in manufacturing and service organizations.
