AMA – CPM | AUA Extension

About the course:
Participating in the preparation course is completely independent from the exam. The course helps you to prepare by covering the relevant topics and areas, including the methodology and theory. The course is designed as a mix of knowledge and experience and will guide you to use these in designed cases requiring clear and business focused decision making on your side. You are of course not obliged to take the exam afterwards and should you decide to apply for the exam, the preparation course does not necessarily guarantee that you will succeed. We highly recommend that the applicants study the Management Book of Knowledge in detail. You will receive an e-copy before the course.
The AMA-CPM preparation courses are delivered by highly experienced AMA/MCE Faculty members, who are themselves AMA-CPM certified. They are also trained to deliver specifically the AMA-CPM courses, and speak your local language as well as English, which is the language of the AMA-CPM exam.

Learning objectives:
By taking part in this preparation course you will:
• Receive the necessary material to prepare for the AMA CPMTM exam
• Get the skills and techniques you need to take and pass the exam
• Understand the standard of excellence linked to the “role of a manager”
• Gain the essential skills needed to be an effective and successful manager
• Increase your knowledge and link your experience to multiple areas of competency
• Learn in an interactive environment with lots of practice and experience sharing
• Increase your value as a manager independently of the exam, namely by acquiring and/or reflecting on standard global managerial competences

Target audience:
To apply for the AMA CPMTM exam, a certain professional experience is needed. The exam is case study based in many sections, and as a consequence, having worked in a company is a key element to understanding the ins and outs of real business situations.

Practical details:
Delivery Format:
4 sessions of 3 hours – Live Online. This is a live interactive session and is not pre-recorded. Participants are expected to interact with the MCE Expert.
Included in the Fees: The live sessions, the Book of Knowledge (in e- format) – printed copies available on the web or by request. You will also receive a certificate of attendance.

Financial Details:
The price for this program is 2,450 EUR. Thanks to the American University of Armenia (AUA) partnership, you will receive a special grant of 92% of fees.
The American University of Armenia (AUA) price per participant will be only 200 USD.

Enrollment: To enroll in AUA Open Education courses, please go through the following steps (see below for the Armenian version):

Visit aua.am
Create an account by clicking New User Registration.
If you are not a new user and already have an AUA account (having previously taken the AUA e-Math Test or applied to AUA), you should log into the account that you had created at that time.
If you just registered as a new user, you will get an email asking to activate your account.
Now, for registering to take a course, go to the Open Education tab, choose Adults (16+), then New Application, and apply for the course(s) you choose.
After you register online, your application will be reviewed and you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
Closer to the course start date, you will receive another email confirming your enrollment, requesting that you make payment before the course start date. The fee can be paid online via credit card or through the EasyPay terminal (located at the entrance to AUA). Alternatively, you may pay the fee via bank transfer to the American University of Armenia Fund, account 1570001024240100, Ameria Bank CJSC, indicating your full name (as in the registration) and the course you are paying for.
The completed application together with the record of payment completes your enrollment.
